Located in West Hollywood on the iconic Sunset Boulevard, The Pendry has been inspired by the glamour and vibrancy of Hollywood and the fresh colours synonymous with relaxed Californian style.
MBDS has designed an elevated space which feels rooted in the neighbourhood all whilst redefining modern day hotel design and condo living.
Entering the hotel through the lobby, guests are transported to a space which is reminiscent of Old Hollywood. An antique mirrored ceiling creates a striking ambience with statement artwork and high gloss panelling providing a rich and elegant aesthetic. A boldly patterned black and white marble floor is complemented by statement rugs in tones of blue, gold and cream and a mirror ceiling above enhances the contemporary furniture and brass detailing. A colour palette of navy blue, dusty pink and brass are offset by a statement reception desk whilst a private and discreet reception is also dressed with mixed mid-century inspired furniture offering a space for guests to relax when checking in.
Walking through to the bar area, guests can relax amongst residential-inspired seating, and admire the statement marble-topped bar and striking geometric patterned walls. With an antique mirror ceiling overhead, the bar exudes glamour and comfort thanks to soft touches from the rugs and armchair seating.
On the 2nd floor, guests can relax and unwind in the fresh, California-cool spa and gym. Finished in soft pastel tones and high gloss timber, this area is calm and soothing. Climbing further again, a relaxed café can be found on the 3rd floor, providing guests with an informal dining option. Showcasing a terracotta tiled floor with an ice cream coloured palette of pinks, greens and yellows, the café brings light and fresh tones to The Pendry.
